When I released my first set of records, it was an added bonus to be able to design the sleeves. The general concept of secrecy carries throughout the cropped photography and arrangement of typography. What's unclear is whether somewhere between the back and the front covers, the viewer was missing out on important text between the parentheses. I thought this worked well to complement the ambiguous vocal samples of the title track; "Secrets are good." The releases were separated by nearly 2 years in time, but work as a diptych to form one cohesive photograph. The ear image is a way of referencing the "Psst!" nature of sharing secrets or eavesdropping.
