Microfilm is a musical project of mine; I produce a lot of the music and work with a vocalist to create electro-pop songs. I wanted to design an identity for the project that seemed contemporary and also said something about who we are as a duo. Since both of us are named Matt, it seemed fitting to show the split nature of the project by reflecting the "m" character. There was also the dual nuance of removing the "i" from the equation, so to speak, as this was the first time I was working with someone else and could no longer speak of it as exclusively mine.
