Warmdesk approached me about doing the design of his first full-length CD for Deluxe Records. His initial idea was to use photography of bricks to loosely parallel the timeline blocks of his sequencing software. Because his music reworks piano samples as beats, clicks, pops and textures, the art direction parallels this with abstracted crops of photography and loose, busy linework.
